ARTIST STATEMENT
I work with oil paint on various surfaces. Through both representational and abstract work my main purpose is to document or evoke a particular feeling, sensation, or psychological state. I view painting as a way to connect with myself and others nonverbally in order to inspire empathy and understanding.
