Judy Nemer Sklar
Judy Nemer Sklar is a professional artist, writer and educator residing in Palm Desert California. She is passionate about the creative process and believes that creative thinking is highly beneficial for those in both creative and non-creative fields. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Chapman University in Orange, CA and her Master of Arts from California State University, Los Angeles, CA. She has developed and teaches creative art workshops entitled “Embracing A Creative Life Workshops for Health and Wellness” to organizations large and small and her art and writing have been featured in magazines such as Art Patron Magazine and Art-Highlights Magazine.
Sklar loves working with collage and water-media on paper incorporating pens, pencils, acrylics and papers. She works with a bright bold palette and explores the relationships between people and the world around them. Currently, Sklar is working on an art book entitled #6FeetApart, Living Through the 2020 Pandemic; daily sketches of self-isolation through the eyes of the artist.
