My past series of works are influenced by the narcissism within my generation; often referred to as “Millennials”, and the different outlets used to express that. I’ve focused on the absurdities involved with popular forms of media that are used on an obsessively regular basis. These are explored through a satirical standpoint, allowing for both humor and philosophical judgment.

I have come to the realization however, that I have spent too much time critiquing others without ever having done so with myself. My current series, Portrait of the Artist, is about self-realization, exploration, and documentation. I analyze what makes me the person that I am. I then take those things and exploit and celebrate them using the ceramic process.

I am a ceramicist and mixed media artist. My artwork is created using multiple ceramic techniques such as slip casting, wheel throwing and hand-building. All of my work varies in size, but often relates to one another in imagery, color and concept.
