I am a Chicago area interdisciplinary artist working in two and three dimensions. My process involves constructing, deconstructing and reconstructing abstracted imagery/text. I work by editing, then hand-altering, and sometimes cutting or tearing my source material. I will use high gloss photo paper to recall stained glass windows and thus relate to the sacred.
My work re-examines the past, takes it apart and puts things back together again in a completely new way. In doing so, I rebuild myself and recognize that everything I see is still in a state of becoming.
