My normal subjects are based loosely on scenes, memories and experiences from the natural world, with an abstract, interpretive style that sharply diverges from the photorealistic portrayals more typical of watercolor artists.

When confronted with a bad pun or the images of the winter Olympic games, my reaction is to cartoon.
