Helen Klebesadel (MFA UW-Madison) is best known for her environmental and women centered artworks. An artist, educator and an activist, she has taught studio art, gender and women’s studies on the college level, and art and creativity workshops for three decades. Her watercolors on paper and canvas push the traditional boundaries of the medium in scale, content, and technique. A past president of the national Women’s Caucus for Art she has exhibited her watercolors nationally and internationally.
