ARTIST STATEMENT
Finding the ways elements and plants create the space to expand in this grouping of work; flowers are re-crafted and nature remembered in works of graphite, acrylic, watercolor, and flower dyes. May we all feel belonging in the world and empowerment to enjoy our favorite places in which we move.
ARTIST BIO
Harper Hazelmare (she/they + we/our/ours) is a non-binary, queer botanical artist, lyrical writer, and keeper of a community apothecary. When not enjoying the color yellow in nature, Harper can be found experimenting in her home studio with found objects or growing black peppermint for Herbalists Without Borders.
