911: Their Dreams, My Dream
artist’s book: paper, ink, fabric
5 x 9 in.

As an artist, I was at a loss about how to respond to 911 until I heard the tape of Bin Laden discussing the precognitive dreams of his followers. I had also dreamed a dream, this was for me.

As I am a dreamer, I’m still amazed that my own premonition of the event hit me at such a personal level – the threat of fundamentalist religion to women’s rights.

As a citizen, I’d just like to recommend that Home Land Security establish a Division of Dreamsharing. It’s a cheap weapon, and one that Al Quaeda already has.
