As an aging woman I find that much of my work responds to women, to their realities of living life today with energy and wisdom despite what society might consider obsolete or unimportant.

Although early life offered some art training I did not begin any formal art pursuitor creations until after my 60th birthday. Circumstances of a hand injury and late awakening said, “go for it- it’s now or never.” As with “Crones with an Attitude”- I believe- “Aging is not about life coming apart- rather making sense of the pieces.” – Age: 65
