ARTIST STATEMENT
There is a point of view called Witness mode. Clear, without agenda, like a child’s honest eyes. I capture photographs of the things of my life around me in this Witness energy for myself family and clients in my career. In that process, I have learned that I make things happen differently by just being there in Witness energy. First unconsciously, but now with control. This knowledge I am a catalyst keeps me scrupulous to bring my beauty-seeking, clear energy best to my work in intention and actual image making skills.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dorothy Perry is a self trained photographer turned psychic in Chicago. She also used to be the reigning energetic force of the dancefloor at Berlin nightclub for more than twenty years. Both skills attune her senses to the subtle sparkly emotional energy in interactions, celebrations and personal gatherings for public and private clients. In 2023 she began exhibiting her personal spiritual based art publicly as well as creating glass plates with specific energy signatures in them. Dorothy currently lives, creates, and dances in the city of Chicago.
