This year we have more at stake than ever in our Presidential election. As a female-identifying member of society, and the mother of a young woman and a transgender son, I am voting for their future. For a justice system that recognizes a woman’s right to choose, a government that isn’t constantly trying to take away the civil rights of the transgender community, and a new president who isn’t a rapist, a misogynist and a racist. My work revolves around a woman’s right to choose. “2 Cell Stage” represents the strangle-hold of religion on abortion.
