ABOUT THE ARTIST
I chose to use Fiber as one of my media to symbolize timelessness. Fiber has long been associated with humans and is a gift from nature. Also, Fiber is a pure material with a natural texture that can represent changing circumstances.
The works of art are created manually, as long been associated with humans, and are a gift from nature. Also, Fiber is a pure material, having a natural.
I have worked in the “In A Day – Journey” for over a few years.
When I started this project, “How I Compose a Day” was the topic of my life.
There was a snowy day when I looked in the face of reality instead of a setback. That was the beginning of the day of my Journey into the artwork.
I believe that if I aim at the right object each day, it could bring the right destination in life.
I draw my daily feelings in, then ask what I think about what I value and why and what, as a human. Focused on the refracted thinking while the pieces were processing, each piece encouraged me to get in touch with the feelings I may not have been avoiding.
My Journey artworks have been written with needles and threads. I have chosen these materials that could express text stories, in refined detail, stitch by stitch.
Moreover, the artwork background is not painted, the blank is another expression of my mind. Occasionally I had emptiness.
