ARTIST STATEMENT
While my Story Boxes are clearly structural pieces, they are about what happens or happened in the spaces within and surrounding the structure. Some more readily evoke images of home. Home often is, after all, where we may think of our stories as beginning.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dawn Liddicoatt is a multi-disciplinary artist who focuses primarily on figurative sculpture and hand-built ceramics works. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and exhibits throughout the Chicago area and is held in many private collections.
