I have enjoyed doing small paintings for a while. They are of a cozy size and present a means to showcase single objects. These are from the Bakery series, a group of paintings depicting bagels, croissants, rolls, etc. The attraction for me is the textures and the shapes, the variations – no bagel is ever the same – and the classic forms.
