ARTIST STATEMENT
The daffodil represents an earlier work of mine that showed two daffodils, was full of color and was titled “Sisters.” Now the one flower stands alone, devoid of color, realistic. A decline in her mental health has taken any chance of friendship I’ll ever have with my sister again.
