Female identity is explored through the methods of alteration to our physical bodies. Women seem to think to measure up; they need to deconstruct their bodies to be more acceptable to others or possibly to themselves. Maybe the young women of today will never experience growing old in appearance because as they see a wrinkle or a fat pocket they can just have that excised.
