My work reflects the female body and its relationship with cultural values. Womanhood and her body elicit somatic trauma, both self-inflicted and natural. The objects I create act as storytellers that illustrate the social experience of body expectations and its transformative effects on the body and mind. Many of my objects use a body canvas and interact directly to a moving environment while worn.
