I my mind, a Blessing is a gift. It is not earned.

In following a Tradition of raising a family (as I was raised), I have come to recognize a true gift from my husband and children – the Blessing of their love and respect for me as a person. The Curse, however, is my belief that their gift must be earned by being all and doing all, all the time.
