Fascinated by the mundane, I collect and explore ordinary, everyday objects from my environment. These objects follow me wherever I go, continuously initiating my awareness of the narratives surrounding me. Receipts from cashiers and discarded objects in the street each contain their own histories and become strangers’ generous contributions to my thought process. Assembling these pieces allows me to combine strangers’ stories with my own, creating an object with a new history, of which I am now a part.
