Ahhh, bakeries! Who can resist looking in? Bakeries are such a treat for all of our senses. First, they smell good – no, they hypnotize. Second, bakery goods taste wonderful. And they feel wonderful, both on our tongues and our fingers. Plus, they look fantastic – enticing – tempting, calling, “Hello-o-o-o-o, come eat me.”

Well, as you might guess, a bakery is the inspiration for these paintings. When I visited this colorful, bountiful bakery I was so mesermized by the sweet offerings, my senses demanded I devour them! So I did – with paint. Yum!
