Trees cannot write poems themselves, although they have been a source of constant inspiration. I wondered what they would say — the pages are copies of paintings of landscapes with words from poets and philosophers.

I found an old copy of a book with the music to Beethovan’s Symphonie #3. I have cut up the pages to make my own pages for my artist book. Instead of using words in my book I’ve substitutted wine seals (richness of flavor) and feathers (for flight) to depict my feelings for the music.
