I began using women’s control lingerie as a means of controlling an otherwise out of control eco system in tropical Hawaii. I took the approach of questioning, would people care more about the environment if Mother Nature was a little sexier? I have created fertility garments which flaunt their overabundance. The seeds of “not in my backyard” plants transform into haute couture. I struggle to order nature even when Mother Nature herself has seemingly thrown in her hat. In the end I emerge from the jungle victorious, that is, until it rains.
