My work explores the culture of small towns and my family history through painting and collage. I first visit houses evocative of my family history, photograph them, then photocopy and reassemble the image. Paint allows me to explore the haunting, yet ordinary, houses that I remember visiting with my family. These houses represent structures that are falling apart and heavy with history and meaning.
