I wanted to explore how people relate to space. In 2011 I experienced some of my most private memories in the middle of public spaces in Chicago. I wondered how hundreds of people could experience these spaces, while I had a private interaction with them.

I recreated those memories here, and my hope is that after walking through my story your perception of these spaces will change– that you will begin to think about the possibility of what has happened in a space before you arrived; to consider the stories of the people that stand next to you.
