“My work underwent a significant shift in the face of COVID-19. My access to supplies became tenuous, my large vessels became small, and my home became my new studio. The stay-at-home order disrupted personal and professional life for most of us.
More significantly, though, for me, the disconnection from my family and my communities created a head-space that was trickier to navigate than the new social-distancing aisles at the stores. Out of that head-space came the “Isolation” series: 19 sculptural contemplations on processing the pandemic. These three works are from that series.”
