In my work I incorporate paint with other diverse materials on panel or paper. I also incorporate text as a found object taken from popular media. A word can evoke powerful images that allow viewers to formulate their own associations. My work deals with personal investigations, memory and a search for meaning in daily life. It is also a documentation of my every day life and the images and words I encounter that influence my view of this world. It is a visual diary where I record dreams, events, and ordinary transactions with the material world.
