An important aspect of my work is to point out how often we comment about people and their cultural behaviors without evaluating that some of our own behaviors could be subject to the same criticism. People criticize unfamiliar cultural ideas and behaviors because those concepts do not align with our own cultural conditioned beliefs. The juxtaposition of East vs. West configuration is to level the ground of perceptions from one specific demographic group to another.
