Self-Portrait: Animal Unknown #4

“Self-Portrait: Animal Unknown #4” is part of a series delving into the human capacity for malevolence or benevolence — and its emergence from our interior landscape. The human/animal faces are constructed from sections of the artist’s body pushing out of a flattened skin surface. These creatures are found within a pastoral landscape or “frame” built from human anatomy.
