After each hurricane season in Florida my town is wrapped in many places with colorful caution band. I went out frequently with my camera trying to capture the mood, at the same time getting hooked by the seemingly endless possible close-up views of the tangled and knotted tapes. The images signify caution and danger. The caution band is a symbol – an icon for alertness and hazard, reminding us of the vulnerability and instability of our lives.
