I have chosen to interpret the most unique part of being female, the vagina, uterus and ovaries.

I make my pieces to work out my own issues with being a woman, to consciously reflect on my emotions and sensibilities. I hope to encourage conversation and interest in things that aren’t commonly talked about among men and women. We must be aware of ourselves, and not unprotected against the shaming words and dirty jokes of schoolyards that turn parts of our bodies into words that stir up anxiety, awkwardness, contempt, and disgust.
