This painting focuses on the preservation of memories and the connection they can bring a viewer of their own forgotten past. Through collecting papers, textiles, and objects, these fragments of the past are given new life. Although these memories may have been forgotten by the previous owners, by preserving these remnants, the viewers can internalize and reminisce, connecting to their own or ancestors’ past.
