“Protect Yourself” was made from a place of vulnerability while still being a reminder to care for oneself. As we are all experiencing a pandemic together, it is important to check-in and take time for yourself. This stressful time may be exasperated from an uncomfortable quarantine situation, the loss of a job, and even the loss of a loved one. Emotions are real, and they must be felt. But to remain sane, it is necessary to protect yourself. This piece is aligned with my other work that uses body language and gesture as a form of communication.
