I like Nature. I’m fired up by social justice and art’s necessity in giving meaning to our human life. I’m for public art, public spaces, public schools, public health…. I’m for equality: economic, racial, gender, reproductive…. I prefer reality-based science. I like to make things using my hands, most often with paint, pencil and brush on paper, wood, canvas, print on metal. I adore moving through outdoor spaces witnessing water in relationship to land, then turning my thrill into paintings. Abstraction is great. In painting landscapes, I am aware that people are always present, just not inside the picture-frame.
