Often I feel as though I cannot leave my apartment without putting on a face. We are constantly enhancing our features to make our best impression on the world. My screen-print of lipsticks represents my need to live up to a standard that society has created for me, or perhaps a mold I've created for myself that I hope to someday fit into. I see bright, colorful lipstick as an icon, representing a woman, representing herself.
