Womb 2 acrylic and mixed media 20 x 16 in. Pregnancy brought great changes to my life, which makes me feel intensely the existence of ‘womb’, which never happened before. ‘Womb’ not only indicates the uterus of mammalian, but also includes the egg and cocoon of insects, and the fruit of plants, even the native cultural background of human beings. Womb is self-contained and safe. So I made this series of works, which express this kind of female experience.
