Butterflies have always fascinated me with their beauty and fragile strength. That love and admiration was only cemented when I was engulfed in a migration of thousands of monarchs during gym class one Fall morning in junior high school. I have always thought that the world would be much poorer if we were to lose creatures like these cousins of the monarchs on the endangered list.
