My work depicts aspects of freedom and restraint both personal and universal. Abstract shapes, images, and patterns move through ambiguous landscapes and are faced with opposition. The painting entitled “Lovesick Landscape” portrays a giant pink octopus capturing ships that are struggling to break loose.

In all of my works I aim to create lovely paintings that read as dark comedies and reach each viewer with visual poetry.
