During the process of creating ceramic sculptures, clay is taken from a pliable condition to a mature state frozen in time. My work springs from ceramic moldmaking, making use of methods such as imprints from polystyrene, crude handprints and hollow wood constructions. The resultant is an interplay between organic and ordered geometric elements.
