CHICAGO – Woman Made Gallery (WMG) Celebrates its Members with the Annual Small Works Exhibition
Woman Made Gallery (WMG) is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated annual Small Works Members Show, an exhibition dedicated to honoring and showcasing the artistic achievements of some of WMG’s talented member artists. Juried by distinguished curators Astrid Houze de l’Aulnoit and Mary King, this year’s exhibition features an impressive array of works by 135 artists.
Each piece is under 20 inches in dimension, highlighting the beauty of small-scale artistry across diverse mediums, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, fiber, and photography. All artworks are available for purchase, with prices capped at $400, making it a perfect opportunity for collectors and art lovers to acquire unique pieces from local artists.
Opening Reception and Gallery Events
The exhibition opens with a lively reception at Woman Made Gallery, located at 1332 S. Halsted St. in Chicago, on Saturday, November 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. Regular gallery hours are Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
Additional events include WMG’s Members and Volunteers Appreciation Party, taking place on Saturday, December 7, from 2 to 4 p.m., as a gesture of gratitude for the invaluable contributions of the gallery’s community.
