A group exhibition of work by 42 women artists juried by Claudia DeMonte
Artists from across the mainland U.S., Hawaii and Canada responded to the open theme with a ‘Woman Made’ twist. Claudia DeMonte, the juror for this exhibition, is well known for her work, which deals with the roles of women in contemporary society. She has exhibited and lectured extensively in museums and galleries in the U.S., as well as Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Italy, Bulgaria, Jamaica and France. DeMonte chose 42 unique pieces, that speak directly to her interests: how are women viewed today?
