My mixed media collages are based on fleeting images of the urban landscape, and its imprint on my own personal mythology…

Resulting are ironic environments inhabited by quirky figures, found typography and New York City icons, all floating with an atmosphere of hazy, horseback memories of girlhood idealism.
Sometimes present, also, are evocative references to contemporary social schisms, political mishaps and general distaste for the media. Always embraced, though, is the alchemy of paint, redefinition of found image, and the pure act of mark-making.
