ARTIST STATEMENT
Vikkokoro uses lettering as commentary on the political climate and social issues. Her goal is to keep the message bold and clear while using the design of the letters as the artwork drawing in the viewer’s eyes.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Vikkokoro is a member of the Newmarket Group of Artists. She uses many mediums and different techniques based on what best suits the project at hand. She has been exhibiting in shows for the last year and a half. Victoria is also an ambassador to the program Traumatic Incident Response Protocol which aims to assist the community to heal after a violent incident. She considers herself a socialist and aims to highlight the importance of supporting your community during trying times.
