Description

ARTIST STATEMENT

I weave personal memories and stories together to highlight moments from my lifetime in a quilted portrait. As a textile artist, I blend various quilt styles, including art quilting, traditional quilting and modern quilting. My work honors happy memories and the strong influence of my grandmother, who was a quilter, too. Using various traditional and modern methods, I craft visuals that celebrate happiness, connections, and the enduring art of quilting and storytelling.
