This is a series exploring feelings of the unknown future, while focusing on moments of silence and stillness. I approached this work by mixing techniques of stenciling, paper collage, digital drawing, and hand painting. Layering of images harkens back to my printmaker roots.
As a creative manager and a multi-disciplinary artist, I’ve made it a priority to work in new techniques and innovative materials. I’m currently teaching and a board member for public art in Grand Rapids.
