Swainson’s Hawk
gelatin silver print
16 x 20 in.

I have always been an observer. As a photographer, I have the opportunity to share what I see. I strive to communicate the essence of the moment, the person, the situation. My goal with this project is to depict the reality of an indigenous people that has found a way to survive in a very harsh environment. The circumstance of poverty is real. The plight of the animals they trap and sell is hard to accept.
