I am compelled to follow ideas that arise, be it family and ancestors, nature, objects that trigger memories…all in layers upon layers of visuals that eventually reveal a core nature. Visible-invisible like an onion that often makes us cry, visual and written art can also evoke these emotions. Materials can guide my creative process transport me through creativity.
Many interactions are currently digging into the deep layers of life, not necessarily to unveil these layers but to understand the complexity of who I am, who we are.
