ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Nik and I am a ceramic artist based in the city of Chicago. My love for working with clay began with hand building, a process that allows me to truly connect with the material and create something unique. I am constantly drawn to the simplicity and beauty of the vase form and enjoy experimenting with different shapes and textures. One unexpected twist I often add to my designs is incorporating elements of chainmail, which brings a touch of edginess and juxtaposition to my pieces. I believe in the power of handmade objects and hope to bring joy and a sense of connection to others through my work.
