Gamma Ray Burst
encaustic monotype, and acrylic on panel
24 x 24 in.
As an abstract artist, I want the viewer to enjoy looking at the shapes, colors, and lines in my art. I hope the viewer will have, as a result of looking at my art, an expanded way of seeing, thinking, and feeling.
I am influenced by what I see around me every day, as well as, by my son’s work. He is a physicist and studies gravitational waves and black holes. As I try to understand his work, I create my own imagery of what black holes might look like as they collide and create gravitational waves.
