My practice involves video, sculpture, performance, photography and painting. As a child I became fascinated with industrial infrastructures leading to my becoming an environmental feminist. AI and robots will solve the pesky demands of workers and artists. Greenpoint Brooklyn is an old neighborhood of immigrants known for its Polish sausage. My emphasis on the environment is shifting to Women’s issue because as the environment workmen’s it is women and girls who will suffer the most.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I’m currently searching for a site to present again “Tornadoes in a Box” a video sculpture from the Echo Check series twenty years ago. Documenting how viewers concerns about the environment have changed. Also investigating caves in Ireland for a multi media installation. I’m living in New York City but I always drawn to Chicago where I was born.
