In this time of mean tweets, I am entertaining myself with rearranging the letters in four-letter words. It keeps my mind busy and adds some levity to our situation. I paint the words on small papier-mâche sculptures along with suitable images: rats, faces, guns, stars. I call the series “China Blue” for blaming China and for dishes that are white and blue like Wedgewood.
